Open Positions: Facilities Superintendent

Position Overview: The Facilities Superintendent is responsible for the maintenance of Three Oaks buildings and rental properties and program inventories.

 Essential Job Functions:

  • Completes or coordinates the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, rental properties, grounds, and facilities systems

  • Oversees the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of all building/rental property systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and waste management

  • Completes work orders and ensures completed work follows established service and quality standards

  • Completes or schedules preventative maintenance

  • Coordinate with the County for maintenance of Three Oaks Center’s Weinberg Center.

  • Coordinate donated food pick-up

  • Submit regularly scheduled reports on time or AD HOC reports as requested

  • Follow agency procedures for purchase requests and submit complete documentation after the final purchase

  • Perform move-in and move-out inspections of Three Oaks Center’s properties

  • Ensure vacated properties are brought up to HUD housing standards

  • Ensure safety of Three Oaks’ properties during inclement weather conditions

 

 

Professional Qualification and Required Skills:

  • High school diploma

  • 5 years of experience in the building maintenance field

  • Valid license and good driving record

  • Ability to make decisions frequently and with good judgment

  • Good verbal and written communication

 

Special Requirements:

  •  Willingness to work over-time holidays or weekends if needed

  • Must have reliable transportation: required to travel to attend meetings, activities, and programs; current Maryland driver’s license and insurance

  • Must have an approved criminal background check
